This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information when you browse our website, place an order, subscribe to communications or contact us. It also explains your privacy rights and how to reach us.

Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we collect or process the following information:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and shipping address.

  • Order and transaction information, including products purchased, payment status, delivery details, returns, refunds and correspondence relating to your order.

  • Payment information needed to complete your purchase, processed through Shopify and the payment providers you select.

  • Marketing preferences, including subscription and unsubscribe choices.

We obtain information directly from you, automatically through our website and cookies, and from service providers involved in payments, delivery, store operations and fraud prevention. Where Shopify’s enhanced services are used, information may also be processed in connection with your interactions with Shopify and other merchants.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process payments, fulfil orders and provide delivery updates.

  • Manage customer accounts, pre-orders, returns and refunds.

  • Respond to enquiries and provide customer assistance.

  • Operate, maintain and improve our website.

  • Remember preferences and personalize the shopping experience.

  • Send marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.

  • Support analytics, personalization and advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements and privacy choices.

  • Detect fraud, protect our Services and maintain transaction security.

  • Meet legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations and resolve disputes.

We limit our collection and use of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purposes. Where consent is required, we obtain it before carrying out the activity. Reading this policy or browsing our website does not replace consent where the law requires it.

Service Providers and Other Disclosures

We disclose personal information as needed to service providers that help us operate our business. These include Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, email and messaging providers, and applications supporting pre-orders and other store functions.

Our store uses Timesact Pre-order, LinkedOption and Messaging. The information available to each application depends on its permissions and the functions it provides.

We may also disclose personal information:

  • When you request or authorize us to do so.

  • To advertising and business partners through the Shopify features described below, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.

  • To comply with legal obligations or valid requests from public authorities.

  • To investigate fraud, protect legal rights or resolve disputes.

  • In connection with a proposed or completed business transfer, where permitted by law and subject to applicable safeguards.

Relationship with Shopify

Shopify hosts our store and processes personal information to operate and improve the Services.

We also use Shopify Network Intelligence and certain enhanced Shopify features. These features may use information about your interactions with our store together with information about your interactions with Shopify and other merchants to support personalization, advertising and improvements to the Services.

For processing carried out by Shopify for its own purposes through these enhanced features, Shopify is responsible for handling applicable privacy-rights requests.

You can learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and submit requests through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Cookies and Privacy Choices

Our website and its service providers use cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for functions such as shopping carts, checkout, security and remembering privacy choices. Others support analytics, personalization and advertising.

Where consent is required, optional technologies are used only after that consent has been obtained. You can accept or decline optional cookies and manage your choices through the website’s cookie controls.

You can also manage cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may affect certain store functions.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. Certain advertising-related disclosures may fall within these legal definitions even where no money is exchanged.

You can submit an opt-out request through our data-sharing opt-out page.

Where applicable, Shopify’s privacy controls recognize Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out request for the browser and device used. Where Shopify can associate that signal with an account, the choice may also be applied to that account. Other browser “Do Not Track” signals are not necessarily recognized.

Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link included in those messages or by contacting info@rehonave.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending messages necessary to fulfil your orders, respond to enquiries or communicate about your account.

Processing Outside Québec and Canada

Personal information may be stored or processed outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States, where our Shopify hosting location is currently designated.

Service providers may operate in other jurisdictions, where privacy laws differ and information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or other authorities under local law.

Transfers are subject to applicable privacy requirements, including assessments and contractual safeguards where required.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Access is limited according to business responsibilities and the information needed to perform them.

No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment-card details or other sensitive information through our contact form or ordinary email.

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, handling customer requests, maintaining required business records and meeting legal obligations.

When information is no longer required, we delete it securely or anonymize it where permitted by law. Some records must be retained for legal or accounting purposes even after a deletion request.

Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you and information about its use or disclosure.

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.

  • Receive certain information in a structured, commonly used technological format or request its transfer where applicable.

  • Withdraw consent to processing that relies on consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

  • Opt out of applicable targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal information.

  • Appeal a privacy-request decision where that right applies.

To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and authority to act before fulfilling a request. An authorized representative may act on your behalf where permitted by law.

We will respond within applicable legal time limits. For access and correction requests covered by Québec’s private-sector privacy law, we will respond within 30 days of receipt.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. However, withdrawing consent for information necessary to provide a requested service may affect our ability to provide that service.

Privacy Responsibility and Complaints

Our Privacy Officer oversees privacy enquiries, rights requests and complaints. Our privacy practices address access to information, retention, secure disposal and the handling of privacy concerns.

If you have a complaint, please email info@rehonave.com with a description of your concern. We will review it, request any information needed to investigate and communicate our response.

You may also contact the privacy authority responsible for your jurisdiction. In Québec, this is the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. Where applicable, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without parental or guardian consent where required by law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without the necessary consent, please contact us so we can review and address the matter.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 for targeted advertising.

Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies before providing personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, Services or legal obligations. We will publish the revised version here, update the date above and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law.
